Floppy Recovery is a tool for data recovery from removable devices like floppies. Floppy Self-Extractor is a unique feature that allows you to create a compact executable from different sources (diskette, raw or compressed floppy image) and self-extract it back to the floppy, as well as extract raw floppy image from executable.
Active@ Floppy Recovery supports:
* Long file names and local language (non-English) file names.
* Search in images and floppy disks by text fragment or (partial) file name or/and file extension.
* Disk Image creation and restoring (restores from a backup file that represents a whole floppy disk).
* Creation of the compressed floppy disk images and self-extractor files, containing whole floppy disk structure.
* Storing reference to all floppy disk images that you are working with in Floppy Image Library. With this library you can create a folders for images, rename images, delete them or just remove their reference from Image Library, open and close images, move images between folders.
